Grab your ticket and jump aboard the Hogwarts Express! This spellbinding after-school experience blends STEM learning with the magic of Harry Potter for a truly unforgettable adventure. Like every young witch or wizard, students begin their journey by receiving their very own wand and being sorted into a house.
Each week brings a new class straight out of Hogwarts — from Potions to Care of Magical Creatures — where students craft, experiment, and explore the story's timeless themes of friendship and bravery. Professors track house points along the way, doling out riddles, challenges, and magical surprises throughout the term.
Along their journey, students will:
- 🪄 Craft their own wand and keep a magical notebook
- 🧪 Brew potion-inspired science creations
- 🦉 Design magical creature crafts using real science concepts
- ✨ Learn spells and compete in a friendly dueling tournament
- 🏆 Earn house points through participation and teamwork
A closer look at the magic: In Potions class, students might whip up slime and bath salt creations inspired by beloved characters and moments from the series. In Care of Magical Creatures, they'll explore genetics while designing and building their own owl puppet — because at Hogwarts, science and imagination go hand in hand.
Students are sorted into houses on day one and spend the term earning (and occasionally losing!) points based on participation and attitude — building teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit along the way.

In this 8-week journey through art history, young artists step into the shoes of the masters — exploring the movements and visual styles that shaped how we see art today. Each week brings a new inspiration, from modern floral painting to pointillism, expressive brushstrokes, impressionist landscapes, dessert art, Japanese landscape painting, abstract shapes, and jungle patterns. Students study how each artist used color, shape, brushstroke, pattern, texture, movement, and composition — then bring that style to life on their own canvas.
By week 8, your student won't just have a stack of paintings to bring home — they'll have a personal gallery inspired by eight of the world's most celebrated artists, along with real, transferable painting skills.
The Journey:
- 🌸 Week 1 — Modern Floral Painting (inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe): Bold floral forms, close-up composition, large-scale shapes, and smooth color blending.
- 🔵 Week 2 — Pointillism (inspired by Georges Seurat): Dot painting, color layering, optical color mixing, and controlled detail work.
- 🌀 Week 3 — Expressive Brushstrokes (inspired by Vincent van Gogh): Swirling brushstrokes, visible texture, movement, and layered paint application.
- 🌅 Week 4 — Impressionist Landscapes (inspired by Claude Monet): Soft landscape scenes, light effects, reflection, and atmospheric brushwork.
- 🍰 Week 5 — Dessert Painting & Colors (inspired by Wayne Thiebaud): Repeated shapes, playful color, texture, highlights, and shadow.
- 🗻 Week 6 — Japanese Art & Landscape Painting (inspired by Hokusai): Bold composition, layered scenery, curved line patterns, and movement in sky, mountain, and nature.
- 🎨 Week 7 — Abstract Shapes & Colors (inspired by Wassily Kandinsky): Geometric shapes, color harmony, pattern, and abstract composition.
- 🌿 Week 8 — Jungle Art & Pattern Painting (inspired by Henri Rousseau): Layered leaves, nature patterns, foreground/background depth, and storytelling through art.

Soccer Stars blends skill-building with small-sided games, energizing drills, and confidence-boosting coaching — all wrapped in a season of after-school fun. Families enroll in one combined TK–5th grade class; at the first session, coaches divide players into age- and skill-appropriate groups (typically TK–2 and 3–5) so every player gets instruction that fits where they are, with chances for groups to face off throughout the season.
Each week follows a simple, energizing rhythm:
- ⚡ Warm-Up — Drills that build speed, agility, and coordination.
- 👟 Skill of the Week — A new foot-skill focus each week (toe taps, turns, tricks, dribbling combos) building ball control and confidence one touch at a time. Simple enough to practice at home, too!
- 📋 Rule of the Week — Age-appropriate rules introduced during live play, so kids learn the game naturally, not from a lecture.
- ⚽ Game Time — Small-sided matches that maximize touches on the ball and keep the focus on fun over competition.
Our coaches guide rather than over-direct, letting players learn through experimenting and observation — building teamwork, self-esteem, and a genuine love of the game.
The season wraps up with our BIG GAME — a celebration of small-sided matches, team spirit, and a closing ceremony where every player receives a medal. Parents are invited to come cheer their child on!
With the world's biggest stage in soccer captivating fans this summer, there's never been a better time for your student to fall in love with the game — right here on the Livermore fields, one small-sided match at a time.
